I’ve been sitting on some big financial decisions as of late, you guys. And it’s been something I’ve thought about for a while and kept mostly to myself as of late. But I think I’m at a precipice that is gonna dictate a few things down the line this year and next year, so I think it doesn’t hurt to bring it up with you followers.
I’d like to get some feedback or an idea from the followers who would be interested or willing (if their personal situations allow) for something I’ve been considering doing, but was too nervous to ever really bring up.
This year I’d had a full time job, so the SaM updates have been a lot slower. I work fulltime every week and only have weekends to do Satan and Me and Here it Comes. However, there might be a situation coming up where I have to seek out another fulltime job, probably in customer service is my guess. So here’s I guess where I’d like to get legit feedback from the readers.
If I could make a minimum of $2,500 a month on my patreon, that would be enough money for me to live where I currently reside for my home. That’s the bear minimum for me to live with fulltime work. However, if I made at least $2,500 a month I can treat SaM as my fulltime job for you readers (and of course anyone who put their pledge on patreon would get the bonus goodies there as well depending on your pledge – I have $1, $5, $10, and $20 options) and update probably triple the amount I’ve been doing this year.
Last year, with my surgery, at least until around July, I didn’t have a job so I was able to update multiple times a month consistently. I figure before I would have to search for other fulltime employment, I would go out on a limb and give the readers an opportunity to see if they’d like to do that.
I know not everyone is in a financially stable situation where they can, which is understandable. But if 2 ½% of the followers on this blog were able to and wanted to, I would be able to make SaM my fulltime work for you and update frequently.
Is this something that any of you would be interested in? If it isn’t, I have no issue with that. But I would like to update more for you guys, I am just unable to if I work fulltime elsewhere to provide for myself.
Depending on the feedback, it might dictate a few choices I have to make within the next month.

To clear up a misconception, no, SaM would still be posted here and on Tapas. The money for patreon would be so I can focus on updating SaM for you guys as a fulltime job so I can live off that money and update SaM more frequently.
To the people who would pledge per month whatever they sign up for, they would be the ones getting the bonus goodies I have already on Patreon that rest of the fandom doesn’t get (as it’s always been for Patreon).
SaM will still be accessible to the public if I can make the minimum $2500 a month. It would just be able to update more frequently, as opposed to if I have to find fulltime work elsewhere and then it would be the current schedule of updating every month or two outside of my work schedule.
