Aries: Deep below the town he sits in the dark, crafting children for when the sun finally snuffs out. Youve gotten this far? Whats one more?
Taurus: Look at you, nearly taken by the very thing you were so praised for overcoming. Your existence is a war. Fight as long as you can, even a loss will inspire legions like you.
Gemini: What use does loyalty have now, watching over a grove of the dead? All the meaning in the world.
Cancer: You remember what it was like before all of this. The antlers weight heavy on your head. You see the engines of calamity, and those who still cling to this world. All you feel is hatred.
Leo: So much insight into the inter-workings of minds and machines, and what have you created? Another way for the world to end. Tad late for that now though.
Virgo: The others dont understand. Don’t they want to become part of you? Part of something better? No more fighting, no more death, no more life. Just perfection.
Libra: The scrapes on your legs leak something so much more valuable than you could ever imagine.
Scorpio: As you lay on your back, head tilted to an uncaring sky, the very earth whispered to you. She reached up her hands and fingers and you gave her everything you could. Sleep now. Mother is here.
Ophiuchus: They call you a beast, as if hunger is no better a motivation.
Sagittarius: You dont know when the pilgrims stopped coming. Too many rumors of something lurking in the fog. Too many drawings of something with seven glowing yellow eyes.
Capricorn: A colossal engine of war sits draped over the fetid ruins of what used to be a city. Deep in its guts two tiny figures share a pot of coffee.
Aquarius: The things that wander the frozen wastes with clear skin and clear blood. Ghosts grazing for fields that will never grow again.
Pisces: An ancient predator queen mistook these blinking metal husks for her own young, they grew into something that should be left well alone.
Me: I’m just Thor (2011) Thor trying to be Thor Ragnarok (2017) Thor but ykw Thor was still a bad bitch and a great guy in Thor (2011) so that’s not, like, a bad thing, right!!!!!
There once was a young boy with a very bad temper. The boy’s father wanted to teach him a lesson, so he gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper he must hammer a nail into their wooden fence.
On the first day of this lesson, the little boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. He was really mad!
Over the course of the next few weeks, the little boy began to control his temper, so the number of nails that were hammered into the fence dramatically decreased.
It wasn’t long before the little boy discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.
Then, the day finally came when the little boy didn’t lose his temper even once, and he became so proud of himself, he couldn’t wait to tell his father.
Pleased, his father suggested that he now pull out one nail for each day that he could hold his temper.
Several weeks went by and the day finally came when the young boy was able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.
Very gently, the father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence.
“You have done very well, my son,” he smiled, “but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same.”
The little boy listened carefully as his father continued to speak.
“When you say things in anger, they leave permanent scars just like these. And no matter how many times you say you’re sorry, the wounds will still be there.”
This was really an amazing and necessary thing to read right now.
